Oh gosh..you know summer is drawing to a close when X Factor returns to our screens bringing back memories of cold dark winter nights stuck in front of this ubiquitous talent show…boo! The launch show got of to a shaky start with its new format..
Ok so I shouldnt be encouraging this kind of thing by posting it but dont these wedding dance youtube vids just drive you up the wall, more motivated by the hope of becoming a youtube phenomena than having fun at your own wedding, I think its all getting a bit premeditated and cynical..
Here’ s a brilliant non story that managed to slash Domino’s Pizza market share in half when it went live on you tube, two workers playing with the pizza..I bet they had no idea the storm they’d create..
Different strokes for different folks as they say, and eventhough I think religion has a lot to answer for, everyone is entitled to their beliefs. However there are a few religious types, (and they’re often white, American and very right wing) who are so ridiculous I shouldnt even give them the time of day! And here’s a fine example..check out these dudes as they spread their love…if you can make it to the 5 minute mark check out the poor little girl having to sing the song. God I’m sure would be embarassed..
We’re usually pretty upbeat and positive here but sometimes something comes along which makes you wanna barf.. and this TV with Jason Donovan and Jamie Theakston really does the trick..watch when the camera tips over…hilarious..NOT!

We dont like to be overtly negative here at thingswelike but Joss Stone has to be one of our pet hates… be it her exceedingly bland “soul” music or her very scary mid Atlantic accent, she just gets under our skin..so its no suprise she’s currently in record company meltdown with EMI. She’s refusing to hand over the masters of her new album on the grounds that EMI is in a creative vacuum and wouldnt know how to market an album out of a paper bag and EMI are countering that she’s in breach of contract..deary me..anyway we thought we share that with you, plus this clip from the 2007 Brit Awards just to remind you..
