Let the right one in..moody Swedish Vampire flick

The cool cinematography and under stated pace of this Swedish Vampire flick make this a very interesting find. Not sure if it ever hit UK cinemas, but it has steadily acquired a cult status on DVD (rather like Spain’s REC) through excellent work of mouth. In a nustshell is it outlines the bond between a loner boy and his 12 year old vampire neighbour..sounds vaguely ridiculous but is definitely worth a view for the classy performances and its oddball take on the much trodden vampire genre.

P.S Any ideas what the titte means?

The joy of the internet, everything is everywhere instantly..clips of Madonna “crying” at a concert in Sao Paulo after 2 of her crew died in a tragic accident setting up one of her shows in France. I’m not going to comment wether she was really crying (cough cough) but just to say she looks like she’s really relaxed and enjoying herself in this clip..when I went to see her (many months ago) it was very staged, no interaction and a tad boring. Liking your style Madonna.

Its The Glade this weekend!

For those who like a proper underground dance festival its The Glade this weekend, having relocated from their original veneu they are now located at the Matterly bowl, the legendary venue for Homelands, the line up looks brillaint - Squarepusher, M.A.N.DY,Underworld, and Bookashade..its going to be v. good. Lets hope the weather holds out. Park yourself next to a speaker and party!
